Homework 4 Mr B 3/25

What i think about the idea of assimilationism, i think it is unfair and a racial discremenation thing. Slavery was over so long ago and i understand there is still some racial acts going on to this day, but were trying to get rid of all this racial discremenation. the title of the play is A Raisin In The Sun. We went over it in class that the title of the book is refering to there dreams and how all of there dreams just dried out like a raisin in the sun. However it is only refering to Walter , because the dream that he really wanted didnt come true at all. Also in the play, to contribute their dreams they all needed money, and the only person who had money was mather recieving a check from the insurance company. Once she got her check you could see that they all started to try to feed off of mother to support their to come true.
