Our decade is the 1960s. My group has diffrent acts on different jobs. We have to domedical advances, inventions, fashion, music, and political/social that’s based on ourdecade. I am doing inventions. The decade 1960 had the most and the bestinventions than any other decade. For instance I have communication sateliteWhich are radio relay stations in space. They enable signals to reach places farAway from the transmitter. This was known as the first satelite to relay television in1962. The communications satelite was invented by John pierce in 1960. John Piercewas an American engineer and author. He worked extensively in the fields of radiocommunication, computer music, and science fiction. Born in Iowa, he earned hisPh.D from Caltec, and died in Sunnyvale California.
He wrote on electronics and information theory, and developed jointly the conceptof pulse code of modulation (PCM) with his Bell Labs colleagues Barney Oliver andClaude Shannon. He supervised the Bell Labs team which invented the transistor, and at the request of one of them, Walter Brattian. I also have the disposable diaperFrom 1961 which been attempted may times, from the mid 1940s between the 1960s.None was really successful until U.S engineer Vic Mills had other people from otherCompanies work on the problem he was doing wrong by himself. Such as USProcter and gamble . The disposable diaper was published in 1961.
Yuri Gagarin was the first person to fly through space. He went into orbit aroundthe space craft which he invented on April 12 1961. The flight lasted 1 hour and48minutes. While flying the space craft Yuri Gagarin reached a speed of 17,000mphHeight of 203 miles. Then 7 years later he was killed while testing a new plane. Ialso have hip replacement which was invented by John Charnley in the year 1962.Last I have the computer mouse invented by doug englebart in the year 1965. dougenglebart was the leader of the human factors research center of the Stanfordresearch institute in California. The computer mouse was one of several deviceshis team tried. It was nearly 20 years before the mouse was introduced to the publicwith the launch of the macintosh Computers in 1984.
